Mission statement:
At Magenta Arts, I believe that art, music, and self-expression are essential to living a fulfilling life, but in today's fast-paced modern world, can often be forgotten. That's why I've dedicated many years to creating thoughtfully designed artworks that are colorful, evoke emotion, and serve as a reminder of the magical worlds everyone has inside of them, but often forget about as we get older. My goal is to inspire others to be true to themselves and embrace their individuality in a world that often values conformity over individual creative expression, as well as embracing the best aspects of bygone eras including artistic styles and design elements of the 1920s through to the 1980s. Magenta Arts is more than just a shop, it's a destination for those who seek a sense of nostalgia, inspiration, and a bit of magic in their everyday lives.
Who is Magenta?
Magenta is an artist who is passionate about creating retro inspired designs using various mediums, including painting, illustrating, drawing, design, and through music (www.magentasoulstar.com) she has illustrated numerous children's books, coloring books and toy package illustration/design. She holds a BFA in Illustration 2005. Everything you see in this shop features Magenta's original designs!

Q: How are items produced?
Most of the items in my shop are printed and shipped by a production partner, but I also keep a small selection of items in stock at my home studio that I also sell at art shows and comic cons. These include keychains, stickers, magnets, and soon, I'll be adding original paintings and signed prints to the mix.
❤ Q: What is your store's return/exchange policy?
A: I do not accept returns or exchanges.
However, if you have any serious issues with you order let me know immediately. If an item arrives damaged it can be replaced with photo for proof. Make sure to read full items descriptions before making purchase and feel free to ask questions before purchasing!
❤ Q: How long does it take to fulfill orders?
A: Orders will ship every 3 days, please allow 3-4 days to process and pack your order. International orders (especially JPN,AUS,NZ) please allow up to 2-12 weeks for items to arrive once they've shipped. You will receive tracking info once your order is shipped.
❤ Q: Do you ship outside the USA?
A: Yes, and in order to keep costs low for the customer, shipping will be fulfilled through Ship Station's Global Advantage Program. Please allow for extra time for international orders to be shipped.
❤Q: Where can I buy your products (not online) but in person?
A: If you visit the "Vending" link on this website, it will show you a calendar of events with art shows & comic cons I am participating in and you can purchase items from me at those shows. I am actively seeking out Brick and Mortar shops to carry my giftwares (cards/stickers/keychains/prints) and have a wholesale website through FAIRE which shops can purchase from me and resell. (Work in progress)
❤Q: Does buying your art give me permission to reproduce, repost, or resell it?
A: No, all copyrights belong to myself "Magenta" of Magenta Arts. Purchase of art/products with my art on it-does NOT transfer rights, reproduction of art rights, or any other intellectual property (my art and designs) If you share my work online, you need to let me know and include credits/links @magentaarts on Instagram and @magentaillustration on Facebook, @magentasoulstar on Twitter. Thank you.
❤Q: Do you sell Wholesale?
Yes, certain items and prints are available as wholesale through my FAIRE website. If you wish to purchase my work to resell in your Brick and Mortar shop, DM me and I will e-mail you the link to my FAIRE wholesale shop (separate from this one)
❤ Q: Do you do art commissions?
A: Yes, I do commissions depending on my current availability. I can only work on one at a time. I reserve the right to accept or reject a commission request based on the nature of the request, and on how much time I have available. Commissions are on a "first come, first served" basis.
